One thing I'm confused about is where its supposed to go now. Jaga looked kinda goofy running during the fight, but it was still interesting to see where they were going with the whole "Clerics of the Ground" or whatever it was. I really like what they did with Cheetara, however. The whole mysterious technology thing was goofy though, especially since the claw is clearly technological itself. Like why the (no longer) Mutants hated the Thundercats so much, and why Mumm-Ra was such a prick.
NEW THUNDERCATS CARTOON SERIES
It obviously has no links to the original series and is your typical "reimagination," but at least they're trying to explain things this time around. I really hated the artistic style, but the story wasn't that bad. Always happy to have Babylon 5 actors pop up. Robin Downes pulls off a pretty decent version of the character. has announced that a new ThunderCats series is coming to Cartoon Network sometime next year. I have to admit, after Mumm-Ra showed up, I did get a bit of "Time begins, and then time ends, and then time begins once again" from Lexx. The new series will be titled ThunderCats: Roar and it's being down as a comedy. The new ThunderCats film must revive TV shows psychedelic magic As Hollywood rediscovers the power of animation, a reboot of the sci-fi classic has come at the perfect time The ThunderCats have. I wonder if they are going to give some of Tigra's mind powers to Cheetara in this version? A new ThunderCats animated series is returning to the airwaves via Cartoon Network, however it's being done with a twist. I'm happy they gave Kat and Kit such a different backstory.

Hearing Larry Kenny's Claudus giving the "Thunder, Thunder, Thunder, ThunderCats Ho!" line made me squee for sure. I loved pretty much every second of it, especially the nods to the original series. This upcoming Cartoon Network series centers around Lion-O and his wacky misadventures, as he tries to defeat the evil Mumm-Ra. I'm hoping he'll be like Jaga in this series, the ghost/image that keeps popping up. ThunderCats Roar: With Chris Jai Alex, Max Mittelman, Patrick Seitz, Erica Lindbeck. I was surprised how quickly Claudus was killed. There were a few lines that seem to indicate it is a continuation, that it's all happened before.
